Hand-thrown from locally sourced terra cotta clay in Honduras, this planter is finished with a white patina wash that settles naturally into the clay’s surface. Terra Cotta Shaped by Hand

The whitewash is applied by hand and left to dry in open air, so no two pieces carry the same pattern of wear. Slight variations in color, scale, and surface are part of the process—marks of origin, not imperfection. Stamped with the Bloomist mark on one side.

Built for Indoor and Outdoor Planting

A built-in drainage hole keeps roots healthy, whether this planter lives indoors or out. Terra Cotta's porous walls let soil breathe, which makes it a natural match for plants that prefer well-drained soil. I like this fan. It's compact, easy to use, inexpensive, and kind of cute. The fan is decent. Not insanely strong, not too weak. It's good for its price. But am I the only one who thought the wrist strap was absurdly difficult to pass through the second hole??? It was honestly incredibly frustrating. I tried for five minutes without any tools, and it was impossible due to the combination of the shape and depth of the hollow side of the fan case and the short length of the thin loop on the wrist strap. Perhaps a dexterous child with smaller fingers could do it better. I eventually used a long piece of thread to loop and pull the thin loop back through the second hole. Maybe a paper clip bent into a small hook may work also. I took off 1 whole star for this frustration and struggle.

I bought this mainly for travel and commuting because I tend to run warm on delayed flights, crowded buses, and long travel days. Obviously it’s not air conditioning, but for travel, commuting, hotel rooms, or just keeping in your bag during warmer months, I’ve found it genuinely useful and have already used it more than I expected.
