But the tone isn’t misrepresented in the listing, it’s just not prominent. And I don’t notice once it’s on my desk and loaded with various tech. It actually blends in really well and matches my black on wood aesthetic. The legs are a really cool design too. Overall very pleased, and $90 is within the realm of reason. If you want a true wood cockpit-style riser you’d have to pay $300+.
