All Horseradish roots vary in size ,shape, color and weight. 

All though we have some basic planting information for you to read, you should not solely depend on the basic information we provide. It is recommended that an in-depth research on how and  when to plant your Horseradish root  in the particular planting zone you live in . 

Our root will arrive wrapped in a thick layer of paper towel and sealed inside zip-lock type bag. Once you receive your root and you do not plan on planting it within 24 hours , we suggest to unwrap the root and throw out the paper towel. Wash the root down under warm tap water. Allow to dry thoroughly dry on the counter. Once dry re wrap in fresh paper towel and put it in a zip-lock type bag.  You can do this process every few days until you plant or process into what ever type of dish your making.  Store in the refrigerator. 

We recommend you process or plant your root as soon as possible.
