This mutation was first discovered by Yang Liu in China, and the nickname “Bulbasaur” quickly caught on among collectors due to its resemblance to the Pokémon character. These Monstera will thrive in bright, indirect light, planted in an airy aroid mix, watered when the top inch of soil is dry, and supported with a moss pole as they mature.
Note: The first three photos and video show a mature plant for reference. Your starter (shown in the last three photos) will grow and develop variegation over time to reach this mature appearance.
