Want your succulent with a pot?

This plant has been grown in a 130 mm nursery pot, so that size is a useful guide when selecting a decorative pot for home. We usually ship bare root for freshness and to help keep delivery costs low, but we're happy to pot your plant on request.

Care Guide

Light

Prefers a bright position with plenty of natural light. Gentle morning sun can help maintain compact growth and enhance foliage colour. Introduce plants gradually to stronger sunlight to help prevent leaf damage.

Watering

Allow the potting mix to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly when needed and ensure excess moisture drains away freely.

Soil

Use a quality free-draining succulent or cactus mix. Good drainage is essential for healthy root development.

Temperature

Best suited to mild and warm conditions. Protect from frost and extended periods of cold, wet weather.

Fertiliser

Apply a light application of balanced fertiliser during the active growing season if desired.

Good to Know

Foliage colour may vary throughout the year depending on temperature, sunlight exposure, and seasonal growth patterns. Brighter conditions often encourage stronger colour development.

FAQ

Is Strawberry Ice suitable for beginners?

Yes. It is generally considered an easy-care succulent when provided with bright light and careful watering.

Can it be grown indoors?

Yes. A bright indoor position with several hours of natural light is usually suitable.

Why is my plant losing its colour?

Lower light levels, seasonal changes, and rapid growth can affect foliage colour intensity. Brighter conditions often help maintain stronger colouring.

Scholarly and Readable, Too
Format: Paperback
I read the first volume in this series (about the Great Depression), and now I'm in the midst of this one. Kennedy's very-lucid prose keeps the reader moving along, and of course, the sweep of the story he's telling is nearly-irresistible. But in lamer hands, the prose might well have bogged down in turgidity--not so in this case!

Good but not as good
Format: Kindle
Freedom From Fear #1 was one of the most interesting and informational books I've ever read. Part Two was interesting but I did not learn much more about the war than I had known before other than the fact that, while Japan lost the war, Anglo-Saxons are no longer in control in the Far East. I somewhat disagree with his ending ideas about the "good" war, that it wasn't so "good" after all in it's outcome. However, those who fought in it and their families would probably disagree.
