The Wick & Grow® self-watering system is based on a specially designed blue-and-white Waterwick® (it looks like a string) that serves like a straw for your plant. The Components
- The decorative pot with a reservoir that holds all the water for the plant to drink.
- The Waterwick® that connects the water to the soil. It snaps into one of the drainage holes at the bottom of the pot.
- Your plant of choice. Because the plant drinks as much as it wants, when it wants, the Wick & Grow® system works for just about every type of plant, from thirsty varieties like Geo and Peace Lily to drought-tolerant species like Snake Plant and ZZ Plant.
How to Water
This is the simple part. All you need to do is fill the pot with water. Drop your plant back in the pot. And watch it grow! Tip: The system works best if you ONLY add water to the reservoir. Let all the water come from the wick; don’t add any moisture to the top of the soil.
