Dragon Lily Blooming Tea – A Visual & Aromatic Experience 🌸🍵

Transform tea time into an elegant ritual with our Dragon Lily Blooming Tea — an artisanal masterpiece of hand-tied Chinese green tea leaves, fragrant Osmanthus flowers, and delicate Lily blossoms.

When steeped in hot water, each blooming tea ball unfurls gracefully, revealing a breathtaking floral display while releasing a soft, aromatic infusion with subtle floral sweetness. This is more than tea — it's an immersive sensory experience of sight, scent, and taste.

Each tin contains 5 hand-crafted blooming tea spheres, with every bloom steepable up to three times — making it perfect for sharing with guests or savouring in peaceful moments.

For the most enchanting experience, brew in a glass teapot to witness the flower's unfolding beauty, then sip slowly to indulge in this rare tea art form.

Origin: China 🇨🇳 ✨ Caffeine Level: Low

🌿 Why This Tea? There are thousands of teas in the world. There are very few experiences. Dragon Lily Blooming Tea belongs to the second category entirely. Each sphere is individually hand-tied by skilled Chinese artisans — a labour-intensive process in which green tea leaves are carefully bound around osmanthus flowers and lily blossoms, then dried into a perfect, compact ball that holds its secret entirely until the moment hot water is introduced. What unfolds over the next few minutes is one of the most quietly breathtaking things the tea world has to offer — a slow, graceful bloom opening in the water, flowers revealing themselves petal by petal, colour and fragrance released in a gentle, unhurried performance that no description fully captures and no photograph entirely does justice. And then — and this is what elevates it beyond spectacle — the resulting infusion is genuinely beautiful to drink: soft, lightly floral, subtly sweet, and delicate in exactly the way that the finest Chinese green teas are.

👤 Who Is It For? This tea is for the host who wants to offer guests a moment of genuine wonder — something that stops conversation mid-sentence and draws every eye to the teapot. It's for the tea lover who has explored flavour and provenance and is now ready to experience tea as a living art form. It's for the mindful drinker who wants their ritual to engage every sense simultaneously — sight, scent, and taste working together in a way that no other tea can replicate. And it makes one of the most extraordinary gifts imaginable — for a wedding, an anniversary, a significant birthday, or any occasion where you want to give someone not just a product but a genuine, memorable experience. If you have ever wanted to give the gift of wonder — this is it.

🕘 When to Drink It? Dragon Lily Blooming Tea belongs to occasions worth marking — and the occasions need not be grand to deserve it. A slow Sunday morning with nowhere to be. A cherished friend visiting for the first time in months. An anniversary dinner. A solo moment of deliberate, unhurried self-indulgence on a weekday afternoon when you decide, for no particular reason, that today deserves something beautiful. Use a glass teapot or a tall clear glass — the bloom must be seen to be fully experienced, and watching it open is as much a part of the ritual as drinking what it releases. Brew at 80–85°C — never boiling, to protect the green tea's delicate character — and allow the full 3 to 5 minutes for the bloom to open completely before the first pour. Each sphere steeps beautifully up to three times, the flavour evolving with each infusion — lighter and more delicate with each successive cup, as though the flower is slowly, gracefully taking its bow. Drink it plain, in silence if possible, and give the experience the full attention it has earned.

Excellent Handbook!
Format: Paperback
This is a great book for anyone from beginner to seasoned activist. Kazu Haga breaks down Kingian Nonviolence and other justice and healing modalities in a way that makes them very accessible to a wide array of readers. I plan to give this to several elder activists - and my 14 year old niece. Haga breaks down the Six Principles of Kingian Nonviolence, Restorative Justice/Practices (RP), separates & defines four types of conflict as well as other clarifying enumerations of large concepts. As an RP practitioner, I found his handling of restorative work to be excellent, and I found the Kingian principles revelatory and beautiful. Kingian Nonviolence dispels the myth that nonviolence is passivity "Nonviolence is not about what not to do. It is about what you are going to do", and has clear steps toward justice and conflict work that have proven efficacy. Haga's handling of nuance and contradiction is unique and powerful, as well as his personal approach to understanding alternate perspectives (listening to right wing radio on regular basis - with an open mind -for instance). More than one thing can be true at the same time, we can expand to hold contradiction, and still seek accountability and healing. The clarity of why shaming and punishment doesn't work for preventing future harm, or healing harm that has occurred is present not only in the concepts in the book, but his personal experience via years of offering trainings in prisons. There is still a lot of resistance to RP and nonviolent approaches to harm - especially in Law Enforcement and Corrections, and I think the accessibility and clarity in this book are useful to help naysayers possibly see the light of why these healing and justice practices ultimately protect us all.

This is the one
Format: Paperback
If you read one book this year about how to deal with conflict, this is the one. His language is crisp, his examples simple to understand, his reasoning is easy to follow. Best of all, he interprets Dr. King's Philosophy of Nonviolence through his own, hard-won experience with organizing in Oakland, CA, Occupy Wall Street and myriad other struggles. All that experience has taught him that Dr. King was right to focus on relationship building. Kazu asks the hard questions, toughs out the answers, learns from myriad mistakes and shares his hard-won lessons with us. He also references some great resources. I gave this book 5 stars. Normally I would have awarded 4 stars, because there are some typos sprinkled throughout the book. However, I added back that star because the book is so very well-written, absolutely authentic to the Kingian Nonviolence curriculum, and urgently useful NOW. Kingian Nonviolence (not non-violence) is more useful and effective than any other strategy, for the long-term, and often for the short term as well. Let's build this world of Beloved Community. Thank you Kazu, Dr. Lafayette, and Dr. King, for giving us a head start.

The Inner Game of World Changing
Format: Kindle
This book bridges the gap between activism and spirituality, making the argument that the world will never change for the better in a lasting way without both working together. Yes, the systems of injustice must be dismantled, but it will be impossible to build new systems that work for all without the inner foundations spelled out in this book. Yes, we need to love one another, but we also need to deal with the material realities of injustice and oppression. Without the principles laid out in this book, we are left with a toxic culture of shaming and ineffectual anger on the side of the activists and a loving but disconnected-from-reality culture on the side of the spiritual while the violence-fueled industrial-growth complex goes on wreaking its destruction. If you despair of things ever changing for the better, read this book. It's THE way forward.
