1930s black dress Vintage 1920s-1930s Silk Dress with Matching VestStunning vintage dress from the late 1920s to very early 1930s. It is made of silk with alternating satin and georgette stripes. Deep v neck in front, ruched shoulders and handkerchief cuffs with rhinestone buttons. There is an attached satin belt which is sewn at the hips, then drops in front for a drop waist appearance. Stunning vintage dress from the late 1920s to very early 1930s. It is made of silk with alternating satin and georgette stripes. Deep v-neck in front, ruched shoulders and handkerchief cuffs with rhinestone buttons. There is an attached satin belt which is sewn at the hips, then drops in front for a drop waist appearance. It has a rhinestone buckle. The belt is permanently sewn and decorative, not adjustable. Below the waist the dress is gored with panels of fabric which are weighted to maintain the drape. There is a matching vest. Both pieces are not lined. They are exquisitely stitched and all seam finishing done by hand. In excellent condition, the only issue to be found are two tiny nicks in the fabric of one skirt panel, see them pointed out with red arrows on the last photo.No tags. This was custom made. This dress is meant to fit fairly loose, and the neckline is deep enough that it should be worn with an under dress/slip. Please refer to the measurements listed below, taken while laying flat and doubled where appropriate.

This version doesn’t work
I used these 2 nights in a row. I was hoping Oracoat found a solution to the problem people like me have with the regular Xylimelts: irritation of gums. As others have noted the “sensitive” version doesn’t melt and the goo that remains can be difficult to remove. I didn’t have too much trouble after the first night. However, the second day after use, it was so hard to get the remains out, I wound up with a very sore spot from digging it out. I will toss the rest.
It’s too bad this effort fizzled. I hope Oracoat will find a solution For sensitive mouths. In the b meantime, I will use the original for a few nights and then stop before repeating. The idea behind the original product is fantastic. Unfortunately this attempt to make it usable for people with sensitive mouths hasn’t worked. Please try again.

An improvement over the original product, but could be better
I had used the original Xylimelts a few years back for my night time very dry mouth. They worked very well, completely dissolving overnight, but they caused sores inside my cheeks. Recently I discovered this new version which was purported to be made without the offending ingredients. They don't work quite as well, as they don't completely dissolve, but so far haven't caused any irritation. My mouth isn't completely parched as it was without any product, so it is definitely better than nothing. There is a gel-like residue in the morning that needs to be scraped off the teeth. I think Oracoat has some more R & D to do.

These work well!
These work to keep my mouth moist for hours. The only downside is the glue stays in your mouth till you can scrape it out with your finger. I thought it would dissolve but it didn’t. Very grateful to find something that moistens my mouth for so long though. They’re easy to use too. Taste slightly sweet but otherwise I didn’t notice anything.

Xylimelts Sensitive
I was sensitive to the regular Xylimelts after a few months use. Painful gums and hives inside my lips and cheeks. The sensitive version immediately corrected the problem and I’ve been using them without issue for nearly a year. The product is a lifesaver for drymouth that occurred when I was sleeping.
