The Journal of Pediatric and Congenital Heart Diseases (JPCHD) is a Four-month, peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to report the clinical, epidemiologic, public health and basic research studies focused on pediatric acquired and congenital heart diseases in the Balkan countries.

It is the official journal of the Hellenic Association of Pediatric Cardiology and promoted by the Kalangos Foundation, whose targets are to publish articles, case reports, editorials, how to do it papers, clinical and basic research with regard to acquired and congenital pediatric heart diseases.

It will appeal not only to health professionals, cardiologists and cardiac surgeons, but also to epidemiologists, pediatricians, nursing staff, allied professionals, managers, as well as basic scientists.

Kalangos Foundation

We aim to provide access to medical and surgical care for all children suffering from congenital and acquired heart diseases who live in middle and low income countries. Since 1998, more than 17’000 children were treated by the teams of the “Kalangos Foundation” either in their own countries or in several medical care units of Europe.
