Abstract
The Kalangos biodegradable ring® was recently developed fpr mitral and tricuspid annuloplasty to allow for flexibility, remodeling and preservation of growth potential of the native annulus. In this article, the results of the experimental trials carried out to assess its safety and potential advantages will be discussed.
